The Show will be an HBO original release, with specials added from Yvonne's visit to Nigeria, where she was born before her parents moved to the United States in 1989. In a phone interview, Yvonne said: "It would have been impossible to do this without showing where I come from, which plays a big role in my life and in my perspective."
Having her bachelor in Sociology, and master's in public health (Yas QUEEN), Yvonne does not only make us laugh. It also gets emotional without killing the comedy vibe. It gets real, it makes you question about stuff. The comedy queen, Molly to our Issa adds, "It’s also understanding that the things that make you different are the things that make you special. For me, there was never a time I thought I didn’t want to be Nigerian. I mean, I didn’t want to be bullied anymore."
We get to know how was it like to be a first-generation Nigerian born US citizen for Yvonne, to what her parents are really like and how she made it to Hollywood, which is quite an unusual story. It's a show you would want to watch again.

Yvonne says that currently, she is working on her book, "Bamboozled by Jesus: How God Tricked Me Into the Life of My Dreams" (expected to come out in 2022) and in the meanwhile keeps on working hard on her acting to bring us the joy that we much need. Nobody knows what the stand-up stages will look like with the Covid-19 and the effects it will keep on bringing into our lives, but we certainly hope to see more of Yvonne soon, live or recorded.
